Varsity Football · Eli Jackson named Honorable Mention All-State by the Associated Press, Detroit Free Press and Detroit News


Eli Jackson has been a force for opposing teams to deal with throughout his high school football career and he just wrapped up his senior season being named Honorable Mention All-State by the Associated Press, Detroit Free Press and the Detroit News.

Eli was a three year starter for the Vikings at Linebacker but has played multiple positions throughout his career. He is most known for his bruising physical play, uncanny work ethic, and tremendous leadership skills. To go along with being named Honorable Mention All-State this year he was named the conference Co-Defensive Player of the Year and was an Individual Academic All-State honoree. During his career Eli has also been a two-time First Team All-Conference Linebacker, two-time Weekly Choice First Team Linebacker, been named a Second Team and Honorable Mention Linebacker by the TC Record Eagle and was named the Defensive MVP for the Vikings the past two years.

His career defensive totals include 210 tackles, 3 forced fumbles, 7 fumble recoveries, 2.5 sacks. Eli will be continuing his football career at Alma College.
