Team District Wrestling Draws – @ Rosco – Released!

The Team District Wrestling Tournament will take place on Wednesday, February 11, and will pit Grayling against rival Roscommon. Grayling will face Roscommon, at Roscommon, beginning at 6 PM. Houghton Lake will receive a by to the Championship and will face the winner of GHS-RHS, following its conclusion.

Michelle Moore Hired as Boys Track & Field Coach

Grayling alum Michelle Moore has been hired as the Boys Track & Field Coach at GHS. Michelle’s brother Andy is the Head Coach of the Varsity Wrestling team. Michelle is from Grayling, attended Grayling High School, and has extensive experience coaching & teaching. Michelle is returning from Florida, where she spent several years teaching Elementary

Softball Welcomes New Coach; Opens Play on 3/24

Girls Tennis to Open Campaign on April 7

Your Lady Vikings begin their 2015 season at home on April 7, hosting Elk Rapids High School. The Vikings then travel to Alpena, to play indoors, on April 9.

District Finalists Open Season on April 6

Following a hugely successful season, which culminated with a spot in the District Championship, your Lady Vikings Soccer team opens up the 2015 campaign at home on April 6, hosting the East Jordan Red Devils at 5 PM.

Your 2015 Viking Golf squad looks to be stronger than ever! An all-time high 40+ golfers came out for the team last year, which will provide lots of depth in 2015.

Baseball Confident; Opens Season on 3/24 @ Harrison

Head Coach Bret Krabill and his squad have been diligently working all off-season, preparing for another successful season of Viking Baseball! Weather-permitting, the Vikings are hoping to travel south on March 24 to take on Harrison!

Wrestling to Compete @ Kingsley Invite, 1/10/15

Looking to continue their hot start to the season, which includes a 1st Place finish at the Ogemaw Heights Invitational, Viking Grapplers head to Kingsley this Saturday. Other participating teams are: Charlevoix, Kent City, Salem & Shepherd Matches begin at 9 AM.

Runner-Up Finish at Ogemaw Heights Tourney, Roscommon Next

The Lady Vikings took down Ogemaw Heights in the semifinals of the Ogemaw Heights Holiday Tournament, falling to Tawas in the final. Next, the Vikings welcome the Roscommon Bucks to GHS on Tuesday, January 13. JV at 5:30 PM, Varsity to follow.
